We knew Doug for several years as our neighbour so when we decided to downsize he was our first choice. He calmly explained all that we needed to do to get our house ready for the market and checked up on us as we went along to make sure we were not too overwhelmed with the whole process . It took us a solid two weeks to get everything done he told us we needed to do. He also brought in other professionals that helped us with staging, photography and selling some of our antiques of value. He then did a great job of getting our house sold in about 30 days through regular open houses, newspaper ads and the internet and got us a price that we were happy with. Doug was very helpful with the whole downsizing process and my only advice is don’t leave it too long it is a lot of work but well worth it. When we met Doug we were at the place where could no longer manage living in our home. The maintenance and upkeep were beyond what we were still able to do. Doug and his team came in and helped clear out the immense amount of stuff we had collected over 50 years in the same house. It took days and days to get it all done.
